Our client is an established and growing boutique apartment management firm and we are  experienced Resident Services Specialist or Apartment Maintenance Coordinator. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of Apartment Management experience working at a large apartment community, property management company with mulitple properties, or Homeowners Association (HOA) management firm. This is a full-time, direct hire position and works in the office in Santa Monica CA.

Resident Specialist  Requirements:

• 2 Years of professional apartment management experience assisting residents with maintenance requests with a minimum of a 200-unit apartment community, HOA, or property management company maintenance department.
• Experience as an Assistant Manager, Resident Services Specialist, Maintenance Dispatch, or Tenant Relations.
• Current training in Fair Housing is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and follow up to completion.
• Available for emergency calls on evenings and weekends
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• High School Diploma or GED, minimum.

Resident Specialist  Job Description

• Assist current residents with service requests and other concerns with a professional, helpful, and courteous attitude.
• Work with Property Supervisors and provide updates on outstanding maintenance requests and the status of unit turns.
• Issue notices to residents with a strong attention to detail and correct information.
• Follow up on all maintenance requests until completion and achieve resident satisfaction.
• On–call for emergency requests on evenings and weekends
• Other general office duties and assist fellow associates in all functions of the office.
• Comply with all State, Local, and Federal Fair Housing and ADA laws.
